Lower technetium carbonyl bromides. Formation, structure and properties
Description
Reaction of thermal decarbonylation of technetium pentacarbonyl bromide in inert solvent and in the process of vacuum sublimation has been studied. Decarbonylation products - [Tc(CO)4Br]2 and [Tc(CO)3Br]4 (the latter - for the first time) are isolated and characterized. On the basis of IR and mass-spectra molecular structure of [Tc(CO)3Br]4 has been ascertained, on the basis of X-ray pattern - the character of tetrameric molecule packing in crystal lattice. IR spectra and properties of all forms of technetium (1) carbonyl bromides are compared from the viewpoint of transeffect
