Description

High gradient magnetic separation (HGMS) was used to concentrate the iron oxides in the clay fractions of samples from a Nabarlek soil profile. Alpha spectrometry was used to determine if uranium and thorium had been concentrated with the iron oxides. 7 references, 10 figures, 6 tables
