Nuclear forces and currents in the Skyrme model

Creators

Description

The application of the Skyrme model to the nucleon-nucleon interaction and the currents of the two-nucleon system are discussed. The isoscalar current operator that is formed by the anomalous baryon current operator is discussed. The isovector currents that are Noether currents of the Lagrangian density are studied. A discussion of the present status of the application of the topological soliton model to nuclear systems is given
