Description

The QCD evolution of the dimension-6 CP-violating operator G3=(g/2)fabcεαβγδGατa GgbbτGγδc is determined using a nonzero-momentum insertion of the composite operator, explicitly accounting for operator mixing in the renormalization of G3. Cancellation of the gauge parameter from the anomalous dimension of G3 is used as a consistency check on the final results. A strong QCD suppression of the CP-violating effects in the neutron electric dipole moment is confirmed, contrary to initial claims of an enhancement
