Thermal decomposition of complex triethylenediamine compound with borine

Description
Thermal decomposition of C6H12N2·2BH3 (C6H12N2 - triethylenediamine, TEDA) is studied by the method of complex differential thermal analysis in different conditions: in air, in argon atmosphere and in vacuum (10-1 torr). During contact with air TEDA·2BH3 is oxidized at 250 Deg C. At 150 Deg C sublimation with reversible dissociation of TEDA·2BH3 is derived. At 350 Deg C in argon or at 280 Deg C in vacuum decomposition of complex compounds with partial separation of hydrogen and diborane and formation of salt with B12H122- anion as a result of a series of thermal transformations are observed
Abstract (Russian)
Методом комплексного дифференциального термического анализа изучено термическое разложение C6H12N2·2BH3 (C6H12N2 - ТЭДА - триэтилендиамин) в различных условиях: на воздухе, в атмосфере аргона и вакууме (10-1 мм. рт. ст.). При контакте с воздухом ТЭДА·2BH3 окисляется при 250 град C. При температуре 150 град C происходит сублимация с обратимой диссоциацией ТЭДА·2BH3. Затем при 350 град C в аргоне или 280 град C в вакууме наблюдается распад комплексного соединения с частичным выделением водорода и диборана и образованием в результате ряда термических превращений соли с анионом B12H122-Additional details
