Calculation of the reactor core temperature field in case of two-dimensional or three-dimensional coolant flow

Description

Methods are considered of calculation of the temperature field in the reactor core as in a porous body in case of complex two- or three-dimensional flow of the coolant. The methods are based upon the integration of an energy equation along current spatial lines which present a pre-set picture in the porous body. A formula is obtained for assessment of non-uniform heating of the coolant accounted for the hydraulic non-uniformity at the cluster inlet
