Polymer and metal films photoablation from fractional Talbot images of Dammann gratings
Description
The near-field intensities after transmission through a Dammann grating are patterned in planar polymer films using UV photoablation. The patterns recorded in both polyimide and copper films, at even-fractional Talbot distances, show the same periodicity as the Dammann grating. The intensity profiles in each cell vary with the even-fractional Talbot distances. The pattern at 1/8th the Talbot distance demonstrates the highest fluence per spot. The near-field intensity profiles calculations that include obliquity factor show good agreement with the ablated patterns in polymer and copper films
