A new method of fault diagnosis based on probability causal model and genetic algorithm for ship's nuclear power plant

Description
A novel diagnosis method is proposed based on probabilistic causal-effect model and genetic algorithm, which takes advantage of calculating probability function from the causal-effect model as the fitness function instead of the original complex system. Simulation results show that it can deal with the uncertainty situation and be suitable for multi-faults diagnosis. This method has higher reliability and practicability. (author)
