Description

A passive characterization method to evaluate the quality of the single-bounce ellipsoidal capillary (SBEC) for the full field transmission X-ray microscopy was designed. The simulation model was established by measuring the outer diameter of the SBEC. The simulated shape of the focusing ring consisted with that from the experiment. This passive characterization method could be used evaluate efficiently the quality of SBEC and provide a guidance for SBEC manufacturing.
