Description
The phenomenological chiral Lagrangian method is applied for describing the semileptonic decays of ordinary and charmed Δsub(c)sup(+) baryons. The calculated partial widths (or relative probabilities) of ordinary baryon decays agree with the experimental data available. That confirms the Cabibbo theory with chiral currents and permits to predict the probabilities of such decays not exactly yet measured. For Δsub(c)sup(+) three- and four-body decays are calculated. Probability of Cabibbo-resolved decay of Δsub(c)sup(+)→Δsub(eν) is in agreement with the data on Δsub(c)sup(+)→Δechi, whereas for Δsub(c)sup(+)→pπeν and Δsub(c)sup(+)→pKeν calculated value is smaller as compared to the experimental one for Δsub(c)sup(+)→pechi. The lifetime of Δsub(c)sup(+) is estimated to be equal to rsub(Δsub(c)sup(+))=(2.0+-0.7)x10.sup(-13)s
