Description
Cheminal extraction of iron and uranium, made on the horizons and the fine fractions of a ''stagnogley'', indicate the accumulation of uranium in the horizons where iron has crystallized into ''lepidocrocite''. In the same way, these extractions show the important adsorption of uranium on the amorphous surfaces of this oxide, where uranium is one hundred times more concentrated than it is subsituted in the crystalline lattices
