On the electron distribution function in quantum dots: a rigorous result

Description

In the present Letter, by using a technique which we developed in a previous paper [Phys. Rev. B 63 (2001) 054511], we prove rigorously that the electron distribution function in a quantum dot system is nonincreasing with the single-particle energy. This conclusion is consistent with the previous numerical results
