Numerical resolution of the kinetic drift equation of electrons by taking into account the inductive magnetic field
Description
The equation of the kinetic drift of electrons in presence of an inductive magnetic field for a toroidal plasma with a circular poloidal section, is solved numerically. The contribution of such electrons to the bootstrap current is evaluated. The results are compared with those given by a code using a simplified model. The good agreement observed in the case of a run-away type discharge allows the validation of the numerical method. (A.C.)
