Report on transparency and nuclear safety - CEA Grenoble 2021
Description
Since 2002, the Grenoble Centre of the French Alternative Energies and Atomic Energy Commission (CEA) has been carried out an ambitious program of cleanup and dismantling of all its nuclear installations. The centre is now working on the development of innovative technologies for the industry and the employment in the domains of energy, information and health. This report treats of the activities in relation with the remaining basic nuclear installations (INBs) of the CEA Grenoble Centre which are still undergoing their administrative decommissioning: general presentation of the Grenoble Centre, provisions made for safety and radiation protection (no specific radiation protection disposition for the nuclear installations of the site), significant events in these domains during the past year (none considering the present day situation of the facilities), monitoring of effluents and their environmental impact (no radioactive effluents generated by the site), radioactive wastes stored at the site (none, except those from labs that use radioactive sources), conclusions and perspectives, glossary, opinion of the social-economic committee
