Proceedings of the 9th IAEA technical meeting on 'energetic particles in magnetic confinement systems'
Description
The 9th IAEA technical meeting on 'Energetic particles in Magnetic Confinement Systems' was held from 9 November to 11 November 2005 at Takayama, Japan. This meeting was organized by National Institute for Fusion Science, Toki, Japan. Over 60 participants attended this international meeting. 16 invited talks, 13 oral talks and 24 posters were presented. The 36 of the presented papers are indexed individually. In this meeting, the present status of experimental and theoretical studies on energetic ions and runaway electrons in various magnetic confinement geometries were discussed toward future burning plasma experiments.
