Auxiliary process in order to secure the emergency cooling of a nuclear power plant
Description
It is proposed to use the auxiliary process of a nuclear power plant, normally serving to secure the station service requirements of the reactor and designed as a two-fluid cold-absorbing process, for securing the emergency cooling in case of failure of the main process. The invention is characterized by the fact that on failure of the main heat process and after starting the emergency cooling with simultaneous increase of the coolant inlet temperature to the auxiliary process, the recirculation of the poor solution is interrupted, the total two-fluid mixture is evaporated, and the saturated steam mixture is subsequantly superheated and expanded. This results in a considerable increase of the specific power of the auxiliary process within a very short time; its power supply for the station service of the power plant is not interrupted. Es wird vorgeschlagen, den Hilfsprozess eines KKW, der im Normalfall der Sicherung der Eigenversorgung des Reaktors dient und der als Zwei-Stoff-Kaelte-Adsorptionsprozess ausgelegt ist, bei Ausfall des Hauptprozesses zur Sicherung der Notkuehlung einzusetzen. Die Erfindung ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass bei Ausfall des Hauptwaermeprozesses und Einsetzen der Notkuehlung mit gleichzeitigen Steigerung der Eintrittstemperatur des Kuehlmittels zu den Hilfsprozess die Rueckfuehrung der armen Loesung unterbrochen, das gesamte Zweistoff-Gemisch verdampft und der satte Mischdampf anschliessend ueberhitzt und entspannt wird. Die spezifische Leistung des Hilfsprozesses steigt dadurch in kuerzesten Zeit erheblich, seine Energielieferung zur Eigenversorgung des KKW wird dabei nicht unterbrochen. (UWI)Files
