Hematologic effects of 239PuO2 in rats

Rats exposed to approximately 200 nCi deep lung deposition of 239PuO2 developed a mild, transient lymphopenia 4 weeks later. A trend to concurrent neutrophilia was evident along with a significant increase in lung weights
