Description
A overlinep-nucleus potential is constructed by folding a overlinepN potential in the nuclear matter density. The strength of the overlinepN potential is adjusted to the corresponding scattering lengths. The resulting overlinep-nucleus force consistently reproduces the antiprotonic atoms level shifts and widths.
