Massive spin-2 bosonic string states in an electromagnetic background

Description
We derive the field equations and the lagrangian for the spin-2 massive bosonic string states in an abelian electromagnetic background. This construction provides a consistent generalization of the free Fierz-Pauli lagrangian. (orig.)
