Description

The uptake of U, Eu, Cs and Sr metals from their aqueous solutions by a plant, Sesuvium portulacastrum, has been studied. The estimation of metal ions in water phase as well as in the parts of the plant was carried out using ICP-AES and AAS methods. The order of uptake for these metal ions by the plant was U > Sr > Cs > Eu. (author)
