Trapping antimatter for space propulsion applications
- 1. Pennsylvania State University, Laboratory for Elementary Particle Science, 303 Osmond Lab, University Park, Pennsylvania 16802 (United States)
Description
Production and trapping of antiprotons for space propulsion applications are reviewed. Present and foreseeable production rates at Fermilab are discussed, and experiments on trapping, confinement and transport of large quantities of antiprotons are outlined. copyright 1996 American Institute of Physics
