The use of in vitro models to predict the distribution of receptor binding radiotracers in vivo

  • 1. Squibb Inst. for Medical Research, New Brunswick, NJ (USA)

Description

In vitro and in vivo data on receptor binding processes for radiolabelled estrogens and muscarinic cholinergic ligands are discussed from both biochemical and mathematical viewpoints. It is concluded that in vitro models can be used to predict the in vivo distribution of receptor binding radiopharmaceuticals. (U.K.)
