Description

25 years of development and routine use of dosimetry PLD systems are outlined. With the new Toshiba readout apparatus FGD-8 an energy-independent readout of H'(10) in the photon energy range of 15 keV-1,2 meV and accuracy of ±13% is possible, due to UV-laser excitation, now without glass washing. Thus the UV-laser excitation in conjunction with automatic evaluation opens new application options in radiation dosimetry. 16 refs., 7 figs. (Author)
