Need of extensive R and D involvement in improving quality of power generation management in India
Description
The existing national level of electric power output from generating units calls for taking a new look on the power sector through quality consciousness and application of advanced technology. The author in this paper discusses the causes and suggestions to improve upon the power output emphasizing the role of R and D, non-destructive testing, regular monitoring of machine and materials, etc. (author)
