Mini table of radionuclides 2015

Description

This table is a practical, everyday tool for all working with radionuclides. It covers all scientific and technical fields, such as medicine, research and industry. The Mini Table of radionuclides has been designed as a tool to allow the rapid identification and validation of the main features of the most commonly used radionuclides (about 300) that are encountered in the medical environment, industry, nuclear power sector, waste management, etc. Presented in the form of a pocket guide, the fundamental characteristics for each radionuclide are given: - The half-life; - The main decay modes; - The main emissions characterized in terms of energy and intensity. For further details, reference is made to the published evaluated data tables. The Laboratoire National Henri Becquerel (LNHB), part of the CEA, has been designated by the Laboratoire National de Metrologie et d'Essais (LNE) as a national metrology laboratory for ionizing radiation: it provides national reference standards for measuring radioactivity (unit: becquerel) and dosimetry of photons and charged-particles (unit: gray). The LNHB has been publishing evaluated Data Tables describing radioactive decay for many years
