Description

The dependence of elastic properties, in particular the C11-C12 constants, of the Jahn-Teller crystal TmAsO4 on the applied external stress σsub(xx)-σsub(yy) and magnetic field Hsub(x) is studied. The C11-C12 constant behaviour in the region of the stress-induced first-order phase transition is considered
