Highlights: • Initial CXR scores are associated with COVID-19 status. • Initial CXR scores are associated with ICU admission and need for mechanical ventilation. • Initial CXR could help identify high risk patients, triage and manage COVID-19 patients. To evaluate whether portable chest radiography (CXR) scores are associated with coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) status and various clinical outcomes.
