Heat transfer coefficient of zinc alloys with aluminum

Description

In the work, the heat capacity and heat transfer coefficient of alloys of Zn-Al system were determined in 'cooling' mode, using the known heat capacity of a reference sample of granulated zinc. Based on the experimentally found values of cooling rates of standard and alloy samples, knowing their masses, polynomials for the temperature dependence of heat capacity of alloys were defined. Then, using experimentally determined heat capacity values, the heat transfer coefficient of zinc alloys from aluminum was calculated. It has been shown that aluminum additives increase the heat transfer coefficient of zinc. (author)
