Advanced fuel designs for existing and future generations of reactors

Description
Current status of researches on nuclear fuel for light water reactors, high temperature and fast reactors (LWR, HTR, IFR) is reviewed. Concepts of fuel under development: thorium, fuel with inert matrix, advanced MOX-fuel, plutonium fuel with low and high moderation are performed. Investigation into possible variations for the assumption of validity decisions can improve safety and decrease in fuel expenditure

Представлен обзор современного состояния исследований в области ядерного топлива для легководных реакторов, высокотемпературных и быстрых реакторов (LWR, HTR, IFR). Представлены концепции разрабатываемого топлива: ториевое, топливо с инертной матрицей, усовершенствованное МОХ-топливо, плутониевое топливо с малым и высоким замедлением. Исследование возможных вариантов для принятия обоснованных решений способствует повышению надежности и уменьшению топливных затратAdditional details
