Luminescence of Bax-0.05MgAl10O16+x: Eu2+0.05 with different Ba2+ content

Description

BaMgAl10O17: Eu2+, known as BAM, is a very important blue-emitting phosphor used in plasma display panels and three band fluorescent lamps. In this paper, the Bax-0.05MgAl10O16+x: Eu2+0.05 (0.88≤x≤1.10) phosphors with different Ba2+ content were prepared by high-temperature solid-state reaction method and their luminescence characteristics were studied under 254 nm excitation and vacuum ultraviolet excitation. Particle size distribution and the crystal structure of the phosphors were analyzed. The thermal degradation performances were also investigated
