Systems of mixed oxides of lanthanoids and actinoids with alkali metal- and alkaline earth metal oxides

The principle aspects of the actinoid-lanthanoid mixed oxide chemistry, presenting considerable interest in chemical and nuclear technology have been considered. Reactions of these oxides with oxides of alkali and alkali earth metals are described. Using such reactions, it is possible to produce tertiary actinoid and lanthanoid oxides by the simpliest route. Crystal structure and thermal stability of the synthesized thertiery oxides have been considered. The parameters of their elementary cells, magnetic succeptibilities and magnetic moments have been determined
