Description
To avoid motion artifacts, patients have to hold their breath during MRI images of the abdomen, but this can be difficult, especially in elderly patients or those with pre-existing lung disease. With a new algorithm, the image quality of MRI scans and the diagnostic confidence can be improved and the acquisition time shortened. Thus, a reduction in breath-hold times would also be possible.

Additional details
