Description

The paper contains a brief description of characteristics of gaseous envelope of telluric planets. Data concerning these atmospheres have been obtained thanks to interplanetary space missions and, for the Earth, from meteorological observations ''in situ'' as well as from those carried out from the space. Chemical composition, conditions and state of atmospheric environment of Venus, the Earth and Mars were compared together with the consideration of aerosol problem in particular. Methods of interpretation of multispectral images have also been presented as well as their application to the estimation of the content, configuration and propagation of atmospheric aerosols of natural origin and - in the case of the Earth - the industrial one, too. Some examples of the application of space remote sensing for the determination of the state of atmosphere, meteoconditions and climatic implications are given. 18 refs., 2 figs. 2 tabs. (author)
