Description
A case of parosteal osteosarcoma of the rib is presented. The importance in recognising this tumour in unusual sites is stressed. The pathological criteria required in making the diagnosis and the possible prognostic implications of certain features, in particular the extent of invasion of underlying bone, are reviewed. (orig.)
