On the necessity of accounting incomplete failure data in the problems of nuclear power facility equipment life assessment

Parametric estimator of given distribution density with and without regard to censored information by parametric method is realized. It is shown that accounting of censored data along with complete object failure data allows to increase the accuracy of estimators. The quality analysis of obtained estimators and investigation of influence of censoring depth on the end result are carried out. The advantage of the principle of equal frequency over the principle of equal length is shown under data grouping in forming of initial object failure information. The recommendations are given on organization of acquisition of statistical information on NPP equipment operation to reach higher accuracy of estimators when the method of parametric estimating is used
