Laser ablation of YBa2Cu3O7-x thin films
- 1. Queen's Univ., Belfast, Northern Ireland (United Kingdom). Dept. of Pure and Applied Physics
Description
Since the descovery of high temperature superconductors pulsed laser deposition has emerged as a versatile and often preferred method of thin film production. Here we discuss the mechanism and theory of this deposition system, with particular reference to the cupric oxide superconductor YBa2Cu3O7-x. (orig.)
