Method of calculating the turbulent friction and heat exchange for carrier's variable properties of a coolant

Description

Earlier suggested modified scheme of surface regeneration is applied to calculation of the relative law of turbulent friction. The following cases of flow with variable physical properties are considered: viscous compressible gas, dropping liquid, near-critical parameter liquid, dissociated gas, homogeneous two-phase mixture, viscoelastic liquid. The obtained expressions for the relative law of friction are correlated with known solutions, obtained by traditional methods of calculation. 8 refs., 6 figs
