Reverse magnetic fields in a plasma using microsecond rotating electron beam
Creators
Description
We have observed field reversals up to 2.5 the initial magnetic field in a plasma filled magnetic mirror using a microsecond rotating electron beam. Hard x-ray measurements show the reverse fields are due to beam electrons rather than induced plasma currents
