The objective of this work is to investigate the natural radioactivity from the streets of the South Zone of Natal city, Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil, through the analysis of the absorbed dose rate in the air, obtained by in situ gamma ray spectrometry, in order to determine the equivalent activity concentration of U-238, Th-232 and K-40
