Diffractive processes
Description
Reviews a large number of experiments at NAL and the CERN ISR. The phenomena studied include diffraction dissociation, inclusive reactions, elastic scattering and total cross-sections. Results from the two laboratories complement each other to give possible new insight into the structure of the proton. (38 refs).
