Description

1616 galaxies, mostly from the Reference Catalogue of Bright Galaxies and the Uppsala General Catalogue of Galaxies, have been observed at 11 cm with the 100-m telescope at Effelsberg and 296 radio sources were detected that are closer than about 2.5 arcmin to the centres of 323 galaxies. Individual detection limits are given for the 1293 undetected galaxies. 136 additional radio sources found near the galaxies are also listed. The catalogue is compared to the Arecibo 13-cm survey by Dressel and Condon. For tables and their explanation see Microfiche MN 192/1. (author)
