Electron scattering from vibrationally excited carbon dioxide

Description
In this letter we report measurements of high resolution electron scattering from vibrationally excited CO2 at an incident electron energy of 4 eV and scattering angle of 30o. Differential cross sections for elastic, inelastic and superelastic scattering are presented for the ground state and (0110) vibrational mode. (Author)
