Description
A brief introduction was made on the lithological and chronological characters of rocks in source regions, by studying the characters of ore-bearing stratum and its source, uranium mineralization type and age and the uranium metallogenic conditions and so on in Bayintala depression. The author suggests that ore-bearing strata of Lower Cretaceous have favorable uranium source and geological evolution process for the formation of epigenetic hydrogenic uranium deposit. Therefore, Bayintala depression is the favorable target area for searching in-situ leaching sandstone- type uranium deposit. (author)
