On the critical magnetic field of superconducting Nb

Description
Recently, two groups derived quite different electron-phonon spectral densities α2F(ω) and Coulomb pseudopotentials μstar from tunnelling experiments on superconducting Nb. The deviation function D(t) of the critical magnetic field is calculated from both sets of data, and the functional derivative of D(t) with respect to α2F(ω) is calculated to facilitate comparison with experiment.
