Changes in regulations for measurement and evaluation of natural radionuclides content in drinking water and water resources protection

In the article are given details on methods and extent of radiation protection during the reduction of a natural water irradiation according the regulation No. 184/1997 of the State Office for Nuclear Safety (SONS) on Requirements on Assurance of Radiation Protection. In the article are specified the guidance levels of volume activities in the supplied water, the values of volume activities at the overrun of which the water must not be supplied and the extent of analyses of content of natural radionuclides in the supplied water. For the measurement and evaluation of natural radionuclides content in supplied water and various sorts of table water, carried out by radiological laboratories, is necessary to acquire permit of the SONS
