Characterization and laboratory evaporation simulation radioactive chemical liquid waste

Description

Simulation characterization and processing lab-scale evaporation is done with the assumption that as many as 2 m3 volume with the addition of liquid radioactive waste tank A to 50 m3. The purpose of this experiment to determine the success of the waste treatment process with the characterization that can be accepted by the evaporation system. Evaporator experiment using laboratory distillation characterization cations AI, Fe, Mg and Ca using atomic absorption spectrophotometry (AAS). The evaporation is known that the process is known to work perfectly without any problems with the characterization of the metals AI, Fe, Mg and Ca, respectively, are 0.666 ppm, 1.019 ppm, 1.78 and 6.748. The experimental results showed that the waste treatment process simulation using evaporation LKRC goes well with the characterization of the waste that can still be received in the evaporation system.
