Scaling laws for the β limit values in a tokamak

Description
A two-stage procedure for optimization of plasma equilibrium shape relatively to stability of ideal MHD-modes is suggested in the paper. This optimization permits to obtain numerical limit distributions of plasma pressure by magnetic surfaces at the given stability margin. Scalings of β limit values in a tokamak at large variation of plasma parmeters are analyzed based on the results obtained
