Study on the converters for thermal neutron sources constructed on the base of neutron generator

Description
To increase the intensity of thermal-neutron sources constructed on the base of neutron generators, the ball converters of the base various materials (acrylic plastic, aluminium, titanium, iron, copper, lead, natural uranium) are investigated. The investigations showed that heavy element converters increase the intensity of thermal neutron sources by 2-9 folds
