First mesogenic derivative of boron difluoride β-diketonate

Description
Boron difluoride β-diketonate exhibiting liquid crystalline as well as photoluminescence properties was prepared for the first time as a promising material for creating supramolecular organized luminescent media. The complex was synthesized in a high yield (95%) by the reaction between 1-(dodecylhydroxyphenyl)-3-(4-tetradecylhydroxyphenyl)propane-1,3-dione and boron trifluoride etherate in toluene, and characterized by elemental analysis, 1H NMR, IR- and UV spectra
Abstract (Russian)
Впервые получен β-дикетонат дифторида бора, обладающий как жидкокристаллическими, так и фотолюминесцентными свойствами, - перспективный материал для создания надмолекулярно организованных люминесцентных сред. Комплекс получен с высоким выходом (95%) при взаимодействии 1-(4-додецилоксифенил)-3-(4-тетрадецилоксифенил)пропан-1,3-диона с эфиратом трифторида бора в толуоле и охарактеризован данными элементного анализа, ЯМР 1H, ИК- и УФ-спектроскопииAdditional details
