Latest developments in quantum mechanical reactive scattering theory and its applications
Description
The S-matrix version of the Kohn variational principle (and variations thereon) has made it possible to carry out calculations using Miller's formulation of quantum mechanical reactive scattering in a very straight-forward manner. This paper describes the most recent embelishments and extensions of the methodology as well as applications to simple reactions, e.g., integral and differential cross sections for H+H2 (ortho) → H2 (para) + H, D+H2 → HD+H, and H+D2 → HD+D
